I am a Lifetime- and Honor Roll member of the International Association of Scientologist (IAS). I became a member of IAS when it was formed in 1984. My wife is a Lifetime member and Sponsor and my oldest daughter as well. We have been keen supporters of the association since it's very beginning, but in 1999 something happened which shed light on the real intentions and purposes of the IAS and which necessitated a re-evaluation of our support. In the following I will tell my story and share experiences from others as well, knowing that this may be new for many people, in particular supporters of IAS = Members of the Church of Scientology. The Danish lawyer who was involved in constructing the legal set-up of IAS, Jakob Arrevad, is also covered on this site. He is a highly respected lawyer in Denmark, and untill now he has escaped been publicly mentioned in connection with Scientology.
